Herbs that fight Herpes

You might call herpes the unromantic side of intimacy. Some times, what starts as a kiss or a session of lovemaking ends up in nasty little cluster of blisters on the sensitive skin of your lips, or on your genitals. Then, not long after the blisters burst, tiny, painful ulcers emerge, taking a week to 10 days to heal.

There are two main forms of herpes, a viral infection of the skin or mucous membranes. Herpes Simplex Type 1 primarily causes cold sores around the mouth and lips, but it can also affect the genitals. Herpes Simplex type 2 is the predominant cause of genital herpes.

If you have been diagnosed with herpes, don’t feel like a pariah. Fifty to 80 percent of adults have some form of herpes. In the United states, 20 percent of teens and adults are infected with Herpes Simplex 2.

In the arteries, cholesterol based fat deposits become hardened adhesions called plaque. As plaque accumulates, the arteries narrow and harden, then blood flow is blocked. If the arteries narrow enough to cut off the heart’s blood supply – you die of a heart attack.

There are a lot of different types of headaches. Unless you understand the cause of your headaches, you will never be able to cure them permanently.

Food allergies, spinal or cervical injuries, muscle tension, stress, and even constipation are a few of the players in the headache game. Medical doctors, will occasionally take these factors into consideration. Then they will also run a battery of tests to rule out brain tumors or other life threatening problems. If all of your tests say that there is nothing wrong but you still hurt, the herbal approach may help by going beyond text book answers.

The results can be dermatitis, a rash that can be red, itchy, and in extreme cases, come with hives and blisters.

If your skin overreacts on a regular basis with a pink, scaly rash that itches intensely, you may have a form of dermatitis, also known as eczema, especially if your skin becomes thick and painfully cracked in areas. Eczema is often a hereditary condition. Allergies, stress, and even temperature changes can trigger outbreaks. Conventional medical treatments for eczema include a wide array of drugs – cortisone and tar treatments, antihistamines to stop the itch, and sedatives for scratch-free sleep. Herbal healers recommend a different course.
