When life hands you lemons, eat them!  That’s right, get ready to pucker up, because lemon juice helps lower blood sugar, thanks to it’s incredibly acidity.  Because of the acidity, even a little lemon juice can lower your glycemic levels of any meal.  Lime juice also has a similar effect.
